Campaign overview

During the autumn of 2025, the DSA for YOUth - Protecting minors by design campaign placed a focus on the Digital Services Act (DSA) guidelines for the protection of minors (available in all EU languages), including age verification (AV) and age-appropriate (AA) measures. It translated these rules into clear, practical, and jargon-free resources that you can easily use to help keep children and young people safe online.

Whether you’re a parent seeking to provide a safe digital environment for your child, a teacher guiding classroom discussions, or a young person navigating platforms every day, this campaign was designed for you! Although the active campaign phase is now over, a range of resources can support you in your daily activities online.

The campaign brought together a range of resources designed to help you learn more about the protection of minors under the DSA, including toolkits, family-friendly booklets, and video insights from young people. Recordings from the campaign's live events and webinars allow you to learn more from experts on how the EC and Safer Internet Centres across Europe.
