ECHO Topics of Interest
Children's health can be shaped by many factors-health and neighborhood conditions during pregnancy, what they eat, where they live, the air they breathe, and how they spend their time. ECHO research focuses on five areas of health: pregnancy, body weight, breathing, well-being, and brain development. From this work, several important topics have emerged.
