Use the Feeds app in Google Chat

To get messages about updates from news, blog posts, or other content through the Atom or RSS data format, use the Feeds app in Chat. The integration sends new posts from the feed to Chat.

Add Feeds to a direct message or space

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Chat app .
2. To find the Feeds app, enter: /Feeds.
   1. Or, on the left side of the compose bar, tap Add .
   2. Enter: /Feeds.
3. Select Manage your subscriptions.
   • The Feeds module pops up.
4. In the text box, under “Add a subscription,” enter the subscription URL.
5. Tap the Add Subscription button.

Tips:

• You need to set up subscriptions in each space where you add the app.
• The app sends notifications to all spaces where it's a member and it’s configured.

Edit or delete Feeds subscriptions

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Chat app .
2. Open a direct message or go to a space.
3. Edit or delete a subscription.
   • To edit:
     1. Open the Manage Subscriptions Module.
     2. Next to the subscription you want to edit, tap Edit Save Subscription.

   Or, you can:

   1. Enter: /Feeds.
   2. Select Manage your subscriptions.
   3. In one of the feed outputs, tap More Manage Subscription.

   • To delete: Next to the subscription you want to delete, tap Delete .

Tips:

• If you remove the app from a space, it deletes all the space’s subscriptions.
• Only the person who created the subscription can edit or delete the Feeds. The space manager can delete it, but not update.
