- For the best experience, enable Search history by turning on Web & App Activity.
- Image generation has daily usage limits. Higher daily usage limits are available to Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra subscribers.

Get started
Create an image in AI Mode
- On your iOS device, open AI Mode.
- In the "Ask anything†bar, tap
.
- Tap Create Images.
- In the "Ask anything" bar, enter a prompt that describes the image you want to create or tap on one of the suggested prompts.
In Lens
- On your iOS device, open the Google app and tap on the Lens icon.
- At the bottom right, tap Create.
- Take a picture.
- Tip: If you take a selfie, you’ll find creation suggestions above the shutter button.
- To create an image based on your picture:
- You can select one of the suggestions.
- You can also tap on the shutter button, and then enter a prompt that describes the image you want to create in the "Ask anything" bar.
AI Mode image creation limits
Image generation has daily limits based on your Google AI subscription plan.
- No Google AI plan: Up to 20 images in a 24-hour period
- Google AI Plus: Up to 50 images in a 24-hour period
- Google AI Pro: Up to 100 images in a 24-hour period
- Google AI Ultra: Up to 1000 images in a 24-hour period
If you reach your daily limit, you can wait for it to refresh or upgrade to Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra. Limits may change based on available capacity, demand, and your Google AI subscription plan. Google AI plans may not be available in all regions or for all account types. You can check availability here.

Create an image with Nano Banana Pro in AI Mode
- On your iOS device, open AI Mode.
- Select “Thinking with 3 Pro†from the drop-down menu
in the AI Mode tab.
- In the "Ask anything†bar, tap
- Tap Create Images Pro.
- In the "Ask anything†bar, enter a prompt that describes the image you want to create or tap on one of the suggested prompts.
To upload an image, tap , and then upload image.
To edit an image, describe the edits you want to make or select one of the suggested prompts in the “Ask anything†bar.
Important: Nano Banana Pro in AI Mode has daily usage limits. If you reach your daily limit, you can wait for it to refresh or upgrade to a Google AI plan. Limits may change based on available capacity, demand, and your Google AI subscription plan.
