Hardware

The Jetson TX1 DevKit features NVIDIA’s most advanced mobile processor. It is built around the revolutionary NVIDIA Maxwell™ architecture with 256 CUDA cores delivering over 1 TeraFLOPs of performance, along with 64-bit CPUs, 4K video encode and decode capabilities at 60 fps, and a camera interface capable of 1400MPix/s.

Built upon the NVIDIA® Tegra® K1 SOC, using the same NVIDIA Kepler™ computing core designed for use by supercomputers, the Jetson TK1 DevKit features an NVIDIA 4-plus-1 quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU, integrated video encoding and decoding support, image/signal processing, and many other system-level features.

Software

The Jetson TX1 DevKit is a full-featured development platform for visual computing designed to get you up and running fast. It comes pre-flashed with a Linux environment, includes support for many common APIs, and is supported by NVIDIA’s complete development tool chain.

For the Jetson TK1 DevKit, Linux4Tegra allows you to customize your DevKit to fit the needs of your project. Linux4Tegra includes the complete driver package, reference file system, kernel sources, and other software collateral.

Tools

JetPack for L4T (Jetson Development Pack) bundles and installs all of the software tools required to develop for the NVIDIA Jetson platform. JetPack includes host and target development tools, APIs and packages to help you jump start your development efforts.
