This hands-on workshop is perfect for both beginners and experienced canners, offering current, research-based recommendations to ensure your food is preserved safely and successfully in your own kitchen.


What You'll Learn

This comprehensive workshop covers the science of safe home canning and provides practical, hands-on experience. Topics include:

  • The science behind preventing foodborne illness.
  • The water bath canning method for high-acid foods.
  • The pressure canning method for low-acid foods.
  • Current, research-based recipes and tips for the best possible results.

Workshop Details

  • When: Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Where: Golden Eagle Senior Center, 715 Broadway, Eagle, CO.
