As key players in advancing safe, secure, and trustworthy AI, GPAI and activities across the OECD will be present at the AI Action Summit in Paris, France, organising and participating in official and side events related to the Summit.
The Summit will bring together heads of state and government, leaders of international organisations, business leaders, representatives from academia, and broad representation from civil society.

We will launch the first global framework for companies to report on their actions and policies to promote safe, secure, and trustworthy AI. This initiative to monitor the application of the Hiroshima Process International Code of Conduct for Organisations Developing Advanced AI Systems will represent a significant step forward in advancing international AI governance, reinforcing the G7's ongoing commitment to promoting safe, secure and trustworthy development, deployment and use of advanced AI systems.

While much focus has been placed on AI’s energy consumption, its impact on vital resources, such as water, is often overlooked. This event will delve into the environmental costs of AI, specifically energy usage and water consumption.
